Photo of the Day - Pink Peony
Roses may be the traditional flowers of love for Valentine's Day, but this lush pink peony seems to fit just as well to me. Our yard in Kansas had a profusion of white and pink peonies. The flowers were so large and heavy that the stems could barely hold them, and if there was any rain, they couldn't manage. Peonies smell wonderful, but I've never seen a peony perfume fragrance.

I once had a peony fragrance that I loved. It was from the company that sells the 'fantasy' body spray series (vanilla fantasy, cucumber fantasy, and they had peony fantasy).
I bought this peony scent faithfully for a few years and was horrified to find out that they had suddenly stopped selling it! I'm not sure if it didn't sell well, but I thought it had the best scent of the product line.
That's the first I've heard of a peony fragrance. Sounds wonderful. I can imagine it. Too bad they stopped selling it. I bet it would make a really nice body wash.
